  • I really dont see how you can say Zel owend? He couldnt even answer the questions. Then when it got to hot for him he has to resort to physical comments..like dueling in the old days??? What was that all about.

    Not to mention when Matthews asked almost any question, Zel couldnt reply without mentioning Kerry, even if the question had nothing to do with him. (example: the question about if the country was divided)

    No composure... and a lil to hot under the collar.

  • PLEASE don't take the Zell Miller speech video off your site or even pare it down for at least a week or, preferably, through the election. More people need to see and hear this man. The reaction among people at work with me this morning is that Miller could win the Presidency on a write-in vote. Moreover, the fact that he is a Democrat who can publicly advocate voting for a Republican President demonstrates his credentials in the much-vaulted "bi-partisanship" arena so important to the major media. And, as he is a Democrat, the liberal media will finally have to reveal their true colors: they aren't so much Democrats as they are One World partisans, willing to sacrifice America to the UN or other world government of their choosing--or, better yet, of their own creation.

  • Hey, I've been trying like crazy to view the Zell Miller-Chris Matthews interview video, but it appears to have been pulled. What's the deal? Did MSNBC get scared? If so, where's their concern for our rights now? Where's the steadfast support for the people's right to speech and freedom of the press?   • I can't believe so many of you agree with that guy. He sounded like a nazi or at least a complete lunatic. He went beyond distorting Kerry's statements and votes to just plain lying. And I love the irony of reprimanding the Democrats for being partisan while you stand on stage at a political event screaming your head off about how they're trying to destroy the country. Have the Republicans (and don't delude yourself into thinking that Miller isn't really a Republican) lost all sense of introspection?
    I do think the Chris Matthews thing has been blown out of proportion though. Miller did seem a little crazy, but I could see how Chris Matthews would make you thristy for blood.

    I didn't see the Michelle Malkin interview but I did read the transcript. It was typical Matthews, though. He did the same thing with the author of the book "Unfit for Command". He asks a question and when the person he doesn't like begins to answers, cuts them off and talks over them. Watch him with a Lib, though, he gives them PLENTY of time to say their piece.

    Is it possible for you to post the Malkin interview here?

    This sort of thing really puzzles me. In what way are democrats today more radical or liberal than in the past? It can't be a fiscal issue because the dems had erased the deficit during their administration, went along with most of Bush's massive tax cuts, and are now(along with some of the REAL conservatives) the ones fighting the republicans for budgetary discipline.
    Is it the gay marriage thing? No one in the legislature is pushing that, and Kerry doesn't support it any more than Cheney does. It's just a few judges appointed by both republicans and dems, and the mayor in San Fran.
    Is it foreign policy, where the dems supported Bush widely until he proved that he was grossly incompetent at waging war? Even now, the dems don't really differ in their foreign policy approach very much except in the tone of it.
    So what makes them more liberal than they used to be? To me they look about the same if not more moderate.
    Please don't respond with insults or snide comments. I seriously want to know.
