First video I've seen, thanks for posting it.
I notice that the text is essentially the orginal AP text attributed to Tom Hays by Lexis-Nexis, but has been redacted to say, "Some in the audience booed his remarks."
From all the documentary evidence (multiple audio recordings, video) and the multiple eyewitness accounts that deny ANY booing, I don't see why any benefit of the doubt should be given to the reporter of his impressions of *any* booing, especially since the first assertions of "thousands" booing and Bush failing to do anything are now completely incompatible with the evidence.

When confronted with black and white, non-subjective facts about a left-wing lie -- the lie in print and the truth in video -- the typical response is, to ignore the incontrovertible facts as if the lie never happended (which is what AP did). And don't bother trying to argue that Bush lied about Iraq. Until you have proof that Bush knew Iraq had absolutely no WMDs then you can only say he was wrong in the analysis of the intelligence -- not that he lied. Yeah, but Clinton didn't invade a sovereign country with no plan for the peace after the war. Furthermore, the reasons given for the liberation or is it invasion of Iraq did shift from week to week and month to month.
If you can honestly say that the right did not lie about Kerry during the convention this last week, you're clearly in a state of denial about the facts. Never mind the lies the swifties have perpetuated regarding Kerry's military record.
If they or you have a problem with Kerry's military commendations take it up with the Pentagon not with the soldier.
I personally don't argue the ends Bush Co. is seeking. I will give him and his neo-con cabal the benefit of the doubt. We all want peace in the Middle East, prosperity here at home and abroad, and the litany of other issues we all care about, it's more the means to the ends Bush Co. is employing that have me seriously concerned.

Kosovo was a historic conflict that was coming to a head. Iraq was an adventure taken on the advice of very idealistic neo-cons in the Bush administration.
We did not go into kosovo unilaterally.
Let's just admit that this Iraq thing is a complete mistake. Who cares if some AP reporter thought there was some booing, maybe the guy next to him booed.

If you're going to make accusations of lies, then you should provide examples. That's number one.
Secondly, grouping the swift boat veterans for truth and the Republicans and/or right is dishonest. Of course there is no evidence the Bush campaign has anything to do with the group, despite the lies by the Kerry campaign and his surrogates like Max Cleland. Bush, nor anyone in his Administration or Campaign (at the time of their comments) have ever spoken negatively about Kerry's service in Vietnam or even his post-Vietnam actions. Bush has condemned the Swift Boat's ads along with all soft money ads and called Kerry's service in Vietnam 'noble' -- also making clear he doesn't think Kerry has lied about his service. Kerry, on the other hand, even though he said he would not, HAS several times made the service and/or non-service of Bush and Cheney an issue, not to mention his own service. Senator Kerry obviously wants to win this campaign on what took place 35 years ago.

Depends on your perspective. You could also claim Iraq was a "historic conflict that was coming to a head" -- The US had actually gone to war with Iraq in 1991, signed a cease-fire agreement. Since then, Hussein had violated 17 UN resolutions, including the cease-fire agreement, continued to possessed WMD's (at least according to the UN and every intel agency in the world), not allow inspectors, shoot at our planes in no-fly zones (something agreed would not happen in the cease-fire agreement, paid the families Hamas and Islamic Jihad suicide bombers who blew themselves up in Israel, continued to oppress, starve, and murder his own people, etc. etc. It may have been a delayed "coming to a head" but that is only because Clinton was in office for 8 years.
Oh and BTW, you're participating in your own lefty lies by claiming the Iraq war was a unilateral action. Of course that is patently false. Only a dishonest individual would perpetrate such a lie.

During this election cycle, I have been an undecided voter for quite some while. I followed the primaries closely, and watched each and every night of both Conventions this year on C-Span, so I wouldn't miss a thing. Obviously, much of it was simply filler, but I was determined to see it through.
In the process, I found myself doing a fair amount of soul-searching.
Ultimately, IMO, nothing trumps the importance of the War with Al Qaeda. I feel that it is a World War, and as a World War, each and every industrialized democracy around the world, without exception, has to understand that they each have a dog in this fight, or we all lose, IMO.
Bush has tried his d____dest to bring as many democracies to the effort as possible, but with mixed results. So my feeling right now is that it may be time to give someone else, someone like Kerry, a chance to do the same. Essentially, Kerry now strikes me as someone who brings less negative baggage to any dealings with the democracies of Continental Europe than Bush does.
Since I no longer view (though I did once) the war with Iraq as part of the war against Al Qaeda, I now feel that the disaffection of certain industrialized democracies as a result of Iraq has put us back a step in the War against Al Qaeda rather than forward. I see no immediate indication that Bush will be able to make up for lost ground in that respect any time soon, so I am currently supporting Kerry as a result.
I realize that it’s not impossible that all of Continental Europe might come on board before the election, but, right now, I view it as unlikely. Consequently, I am supporting Kerry for the time being, since I view it as more likely (though not inevitable) that a Kerry presidency might see each and every industrialized democracy around the Free World finally joining proactively in the effort against Al Qaeda.
